Urban Koorie Tour
Learn how Aboriginal people used the land that we now call Melbourne. Be taken a journey through Federation Square and along the banks of the Birrarung Marr (Yarra River) with Koorie Heritage Trust and Federation Square guides and see how the landscape has changed and developed over time. Discover how Federation Square has become a platform for contemporary Aboriginal expression as well as the glue that unites Melbourne with its Aboriginal history.

Circle the Square is Federation Square’s education tour and explores the themes surrounding Fed Square’s role as Melbourne’s dynamic city square including: public spaces, community, cultural events, and interpretations of Fed Square’s distinctive architecture, design and history.
With so many events and activities held at Fed Square, each tour provides a different experience and makes a great addition to your Melbourne city school excursion or camp. Education tours can be tailored to suit the needs of your group.
