Deadstock: A Shoe X Art Exhibition

Deadstock is an exhibition merging the wonderful world of sneakers with the intrigue of artistic interpretation. Three young Melbourne based artists, Liamme Cardinal, Kyle Adams and Kodjowild, create a space that shoe lovers only dream of. The concept behind Deadstock has grown from a ‘Seven Shoes In Seven Days’ challenge into an immersive and diverse exhibition, with each artist bringing their own unique style to the table. The three artists on display, although vastly different in regards to their style, share a common love for sneakers and have offered their own interpretation on modern day classics; such as the PUMA Disc Blaze, Nike Air Max 95 and the Galaxy Foamposite. Deadstock has something to offer every sneaker lover, whether it be a nostalgic look back at some of the 90s finest styles, or a depiction of the more current creations, this artistic celebration of shoes delves deeper into a culture that many hold dear.

Prints of the artworks will be available to order. DJ SAL on the decks at the opening.

Deadstock has been made possible with many thanks to PUMA AustraliaHound and Bone Fine Art PrintersHype DC and Gage Roads Brewing Co.
