When was the last time you felt inspired?
Whether you’re an artist who wants to create or an art-lover looking for the strange and beautiful, Fed Square’s year-round Creative Program aims to intrigue, delight and provoke in equal measure.
We offer an exciting mix of commissioned public artworks, installations and performances, multimedia projects for Fed TV and the annual program in June, The Light in Winter.
Through our Creative Program, we cultivate unique artistic relationships, a diversity of new, site-specific work throughout the year, and various forums for public engagement with artists. Our priority is to work with artists and creatives who can create provocative work that responds very specifically to the unique physical and social public environment that is Fed Square. This includes commissioning new work, partnering with artists to present existing projects in exciting new ways, and forming residencies with key, identified creative organizations for longer-term and durational results.
Fed Square works with a variety of artists, organizations and content providers on a regular basis to present a dynamic, engaging and vibrant daily screen program on Fed TV. Key partners include Artplay, Atom Awards, Australia Children’s Foundation, Australian Football League, QUT Creative Industries Precinct, Culture Victoria, Experimenta, Inside Art, Material Thinking, Melbourne International Film Festival and Streaming Museum New York.
